Select the plan that best fits your needs

BackupBase offers two plans, Classic and Select. Click here for more information on plans.

Step Two

Tell us how much data you want to backup

Are you backing up a laptop or a whole server? There are a few different ways you can figure out how much space you need. First, decide if you want to backup your entire hard drive or just specific files. If you want to backup your hard drive, you can click on the 'My Computer' icon on your desktop and look at the C drive. Here you can see the approximate size of your hard drive, remembering that 4-6 GB is used for the operating system. If you want to backup all your files, you will need, at minimum, this much space. If you only want to backup select files, create a new folder and copy all of the files you would like to backup into it. Then right click on the folder and choose 'Properties'. Click the 'General' tab at the top of the window, here you will find the size of the contents of that folder.

Step Three

Walk through the entire setup with a qualified backup engineer!

After you're signed up, your account manager will notify our backup engineers. They will contact you within 48 hours to go over options for getting your backup set up. In most cases, with clients using more than a couple GB of data, we'll will send you a USB hard drive to load the data on. As upload speeds can be incredibly slow for large amounts of data, we find this is the easiest and most reliable way to get initial data. Once you receive the drive, they will walk you through the initial setup and help you choose what files or systems you'd like to backup. Then simply mail back the hard drive (don't worry your data is encrypted) and we'll take care of it from there. Rest easy, we've got your back. .

If you choose to use the encryption method to backup your data we cannot recover your data without the encryption key. When you are installing the BackupBase application make sure you save your encryption key. We recommend saving it on a thumb drive or CD and placing it in a secure location like a safe deposit box, fire proof safe, or your Mom's house.
